Ferme du Ciel is loving owned and run by Alex and Lucie, a young, international couple. Lucie is French, and Alex was born and raised in Australia. We have met in 2013 whilst respectively living in India. After various countries and 10 years in the corporate world, we have decided to pack-it in! So we moved to France and turned our hands to hospitality.
We have always been enamoured of the mountains, so we scoured the Alps in search of the perfect spot. When we found Samoëns and Ferme du Ciel, we knew this was it! The awe-inspiring views, the charming, unspoilt historic town, the fantastic, but also the snowsure Grand-Massif ski area (and associated mountain biking and adventure sports during the summer) area convinced us. In addition, we fell in love with the wider Valley du Giffre and the natural Reserve de Passy. Above all, we like the scenery, the lifestyle, the rich culture and the history of this region. We also both love all of the incredible sporting activities at our doorstep, and we know you would feel the same!
