Smiles in the snow We know that if they are happy you will be too! We designed the chalet with families in mind – ensuring there are plenty of spaces for kids and adults to spread out and do their own thing – without fear of upsetting anyone. Likewise we provide a range of services to ensure they are safe and having fun – with or without you!

We are happy to provide childrens meals at a time to suit you, and with a menu to suit you all! We are truly flexible, and happy to discuss the arrangements that fit your routines and preferences. Drinks are available throughout the day, and if you wish to bring special food for the children, it Family holiday can be stored in the guest fridge.We have cots, high chairs and intercom baby alarm systems available. Just let us know what you need when you book. We also have a selection of games, books, sledges, videos, DVDs and computer games. If you would like to get some ski time in without the kids, we can help you arrange nursery care or ski school, or a combination of the two .

Samoëns prides itself on being a family friendly resort, with the brand new purpose-built nursery Loupiots which can accommodate children from 3 months to 6 years old. It is open every day from 8.30 to 18.00 and is flexible about whether you choose to have the children cared for an occasional morning or afternoon, or for a full day. For Holiday fun! older children ski lessons are available from the age of 3 upwards, with the option of a trip on the little train from the nursery to the children’s ski area, the Jardins des Neiges.

In the town you won’t find places refusing entry to babies and children; on the contrary, children are generally welcomed wholeheartedly, and great efforts are made to ensure they are as well cared for as their adult companions.It is completely possible for parents of young children to enjoy as many hours skiing as they wish, safe in the knowledge that their children are being well looked after and entertained.
