Luxury chalet Ferme du Ciel is in Samoens in the Grand Massif, France.The Grand Massif is one of the largest and most easily accessible ski areas in the French Alps, perfect for an invigorating, energising break. Comprised of five interlinked resorts – Samoëns, Morillon, Les Carroz, Sixt and Flaine – it boasts more than 265km of wide, groomed pistes, and an unlimited supply of pure, clean air!

Close to Mont Blanc, the area is renowned for its reliable snow record, and has terrain for beginners to advanced, making it ideal for family holidays. Skiing and boarding is on open, or tree-lined pistes with gorgeous scenery and milder temperatures – enjoyable even in whiteout conditions. And there are numerous bars and restaurants on the mountain for regular pit stops – we’ll be happy to recommend our favourites.

The Grand Massif piste map

You’ll enjoy private transfers to the slopes each morning in one of the chalet’s two vehicles. We’ll drop you at the Grand Massif Express gondola, which takes you up to Samöens 1600m and a choice of numerous runs. We’ll collect you again at a time to suit you and bring you back to the chalet for a well-earned afternoon tea. 

Ferme du Ciel has been practically and thoughtfully designed for snowsports enthusiasts, with every luxury you might expect and more:
