An alpine paradise in summertime

In summer Samöens is a breath of fresh air, the alpine slopes transformed with flower-filled meadows and clear blue skies. Temperatures are reliably warm – regularly hitting the high 30s – life slows to a leisurely pace, and the locals decorate every balcony and window box with floral displays in competition with neighbouring villages.

The long, light-filled days are perfect for exploring the area, with a whole host of summer activities available for every level of outdoor enthusiast. And for those who just want to get away from it all, the peace and quiet is disturbed only by birdsong and the tinkling of cowbells. Bliss.

Ferme du Ciel luxury accommodation is available all year round. From May to December you can rent the farmhouse on a flexiible basis; B&B, self-catered or semi-catered. In addition, from mid-July to September, we offer fully catered house party packages. The spacious luxury chalet sleeps up to 18 people, and during the summer months we also rent out a one bedroom apartment, which sleeps up to four (available for rent separately or together).
