It’s a true privilege to be able to give a couple the wedding they’ve always dreamed of, and we’re delighted to have hosted many special days in luxury at Ferme du Ciel in the French Alps.

“Thank you for giving us the day of our dreams”

A long family history of holidaying in Samoëns made it the ideal venue for Laura and Andy’s dream wedding. With 100 guests and a proper white wedding in mind, they asked us to make their vision a reality. We erected a beautiful white marquee in the chalet’s garden, where they partied under the summer stars until the early hours.  With a waiting staff of 10, a rustic meal was prepared in-house and served to the seated guests. Accommodation and transport for all of their guests was outsourced in the village so that the bridal party could benefit from the luxury of Ferme du Ciel themselves. The wedding ceremony itself took place in Samoëns’ historic church in the village centre, where the village bells resounded to celebrate their marriage.

An intimate family event was the concept behind Alice & Richard’s charming summertime wedding. A small party of their closest family attended a touchingly personal ceremony in the tiny chapel of Mathonex, less than 100m from Ferme du Ciel. The whole family enjoyed a week of celebration and relaxation together in the chalet, and on the picture-perfect day of the wedding, locals came out to wish well the wedding party as they walked to the chapel. A delightfully simple wedding, the bride’s bouquet was made of wildflowers collected in the surrounding fields. The chapel’s bells were rung at length to announce their marriage, and a photographer was on hand to capture the happy atmosphere.
