Not your average Alpine hut

Whether you’re leaving footprints in the stillness of the snow or whizzing down a mountain, the French Alps offers an outdoor paradise of powder, pistes and perfect scenery. Inside is just as good, with our Samoëns luxury chalet being much more extraordinary than your average Alpine hut. Read on below to discover why a holiday in Samoëns is extra special and so very far from the ordinary.

Plenty of space

Leave your shoes in the boot room and slip on some comfy cashmere socks to pad around our luxury chalet accommodation. 2020 has so far been a year where our own space has become ever so more important and staying with the family in a ski chalet will give you plenty of elbowroom. With dedicated chill-out zones including our oversized open plan living room complete with double-height windows and two larges terraces with a Jacuzzi, dining table and barbecue, there are lots of gems inside your chalet that offer dreamy downtime.

Champagne and canapes

While there are many charming restaurants in Samoëns village, if you prefer to stay tucked away, we’ve got you covered with your own private chef. Food is a huge part of our chalet life and this is the place to come when you want to indulge in hearty breakfasts and tailored dinners. Expect everything from champagne and canapés to decadent fondue as well as incredible locally sourced and super healthy ingredients.

Leave footprints in the snow

French Alps skiing is a magical experience but there are also lots of extra activities you can do in your own private groups. Away from the crowds, try cross country skiing with Mont Blanc as your backdrop and enjoy a multitude of circuits on snowshoe trails. We love snowshoeing for its low impact aerobic exercise and blissful solitude in the stillness of the outdoors. There are also torchlit walks down to the village, off-piste tobogganing at incredible altitudes and board games played together under twinkling lanterns on your terrace.

Cycle in style

Samoëns and the Grand Massif is the perfect place for year-round cycling whether you go it alone on an epic mountain experience or have the kids in tow for family fun. From Samoëns, you can climb to Bois des Suet, enjoy the Giffre Valley tracks and trails, or try out fat-biking and fairytale nocturnal winter tours.
